The goal of this exercise is to:
1. Clarify your message: Ensure your course and marketing materials communicate exactly what your students need to hear.

Directions

1. Set Aside Focused Time
Dedicate 1–2 hours to this exercise without distractions. This process is foundational to how your course and messaging will take shape.
2. Work Through Each Section
The StoryBrand exercise is divided into sections (Hero, Problem, Guide, etc.). For each, answer the prompts thoughtfully, using examples as inspiration where needed. Take your time—this is about uncovering the heart of your course's mission.
3. Emphasize Your Students’ Journey Remember, your students are the hero of the story. Focus on their goals, struggles, and the transformation they’ll achieve through your course.
4. Highlight Your Role as the Guide
Showcase how you, as the leader, provide the expertise and tools they need to succeed.
5. Review and Refine
After completing the exercise, review your answers to ensure they feel cohesive and authentic. These insights will directly inform your curriculum, marketing materials, and sales funnel.
